My mom is okay
She called and said, "Sweetie, I did a silly thing today."
She fell off a ladder while they were getting the Christmas decorations down from the attic, and broke her leg. My dad was trapped up there until she was able to get herself over to the ladder, and lift it back up to him.
She's okay.
She wanted to hear my voice.
