Pirates: Band of Misfits (or as titled everywhere else in the world, An Adventure with Scientists)

I love Aardman and I generally try to watch anything of theirs I can find. Not just because Claymation is super-great and awesome, though that's a big part of it, but also because I like the way they do things. They're funny, they have a neat style, and they care about animal rights, which is also pretty neat.

And this time they've made a movie about pirates! Apparently it'll be one of a series of movies (which I sincerely hope will be released here too so I can go see them all!) about the Pirate Captain and his crew of other aptly named persons.

It was great! There is BRIAN BLESSED! in it and pirate tomfoolery, and Charles Darwin, and I don't want to spoil things but I do want to send everyone to see it. So guys! Come on! There is BRIAN BLESSED! And also clever disguises! And Ham Nite!

We also registered as students with the community college, and I went to the Chiropractor a last time. Danny wanted to sit in and see, so I brought him with me. Afterwards in the car:

Dev: You look like you want to say something!
Danny: The neck stuff was really scary looking!
Dev: Hah! It freaks me out a little, but it doesn't hurt, at least.
Danny: I'm like "nooo, don't Solid-Snake her!"
