I loved the latest episode of Korra. They finally got around to doing a lot of stuff they'd not really gotten around to, and the set-up feels a bit more worth it at last. I was like "heck yeah!" for pretty much the whole episode.
With one minor exception: Mako, shut the fuck up. Korra's not your girlfriend. And, hey, you even swore you had no interest in her. You're consistently a tremendous douchebag to your brother and girlfriend. And to Korra, when you aren't worried about her, for that matter. You patronizing asshole, quit sucking so much at the people you're supposed to be close to. Take a chill pill and maybe consider the feelings of the people around you. (I personally feel like Bolin, Tenzin and even Lin had more reason and right to be freaking out over Korra's wellbeing, but no-- all of them were fuckin' chill.)
In other news, Lin Beifong and Tenzin could probably accurately also be codenamed 'team win at everything'. I am so completely okay with this on every level.
Also, I love that old Sokka is as rambly as young Sokka.
ALSO: I now completely ship Lin Beifong / Bolin.
Report on the animation project: I cleaned up the lineart for parts 3 and 4, and have been coloring them since I'm a little concerned I might not have time to clean up the lineart for parts 1 and 2 in time for the deadline tomorrow night. Pardon while I go listen endlessly to Zelda music some more and try desperately to finish this monstrosity!
