Please stop sucking, state that I live in
Friday, September 7th, 2012 04:39 pmA judge in Arizona (female, no less) permitted a cop who sexually assaulted a woman at a bar to go free with no jailtime, and then told the victim that if she hadn't been there, it wouldn't have happened.
I'm sorry, but this is the DEFINITION of blaming the victim. The victim's final comment in the article (which is short, and worth reading so you know the name of this judge in case you're ever unfortunate enough to have her presiding over a trial of yours) says it all: "It probably would have happened to someone else."
Yes, that's right. I don't care how vigilant you think women should be about potentially being sexually assaulted, physically assaulted, verbally harassed, abused, attacked, or murdered. The person who is at fault is the person who thought it was acceptable to sexually assault, physically assault, verbally harass, abuse, attack, or murder someone else. That person is IN THE WRONG. That person is A BAD PERSON who needs to GET BETTER.
For FUCK'S SAKE. This is not even remotely difficult to understand AT ALL.
