Chicken tacos?!

Oh boy oh boy oh boy! Whataburger has CHICKEN TACOS now apparently! I was bemoaning the fact that I didn't really want a burger, but all the food places near me are either extremely expensive or burger-related (yes yes, I didn't have time to pack a lunch this morning; bad me, bad). I decided to go to Whataburger and discovered upon arriving that lo! Behold! They now have a chicken soft taco with grilled onions and poblano peppers!

It is delicious! And totally not burgery, which is what I was craving. Yay!

Also, D&D occurs this fine evening. I am looking forward to it!

Edit: Tiger & Bunny crap. Part 1: final doujinshi review. Part 2: blarrgh

Part 1: So my last order of doujinshi arrived yesterday! They were my guiltiest of purchases, an anthology of mob x Kotetsu and a book of Maverick x Kotetsu. Mob x Kotetsu surprised me, having several stories in which Kotetsu was just a sex addict, or scolded his mobs for not sexing him up enough at the end. (There was still a fair bit of fetish going on; from mind-controlling aphrodisiacs to masked auctions to excessive double-penetration to bondage + sex toys, and so on.) A number of the mob x Kotetsu stories ended with an indication that Maverick was behind it all and obsessed with Kotetsu secretly which-- honestly is interesting to me. The thing is, the show has its protagonist and its antagonist, and the writer never bothered to explain why Maverick was interested in Kotetsu, even though he clearly was. Question number 1, still unanswered, is 'why did Maverick purchase Kotetsu's contract instead of letting him go unemployed?' It was never really touched upon, and 'because he needed someone to partner Barnaby with' is a pretty flimsy answer. I'd like to think there's a little bit more to it than that-- possibly that Maverick dislikes Kotetsu for having the same powerset as Barnaby, who's supposed to be his big marketable hero? anyway.

Glad I bought the doujin, and enjoyed them both; the Maverick x Kotetsu one was largely without sex, which was a serious treat; Maverick is taking advantage of Kotetsu while Barnaby is sitting alone somewhere, trying to think why Kotetsu seems familiar. When Maverick reveals that he's a NEXT and starts to erase Kotetsu's memories, Kotetsu gets rabid and bites Maverick's hand-- he can't save himself, but it was still awesome. Of course, Barnaby remembers when it's too late. Excellent book!

Part 2: Revamped to be less rambly because who cares, right?: there is an author on the anonmeme whose responses to her commenters is making me all irked, because she is being very condescending to them. This wouldn't be a problem except I notice the comments as I'm skimming through the meme on Flat mode (to see what things have been updated lately) and then I get all crabby. Blah!
