My first day at work was great, but more importantly
Dear guys who made the new Lupin III show,
You're doing okay. If you do anymore butterfly/owl/flashback/oh noes repressed memories flashback bullshit, you will have crossed the line into stupidly overtrodden territory (especially for anime) so I sincerely hope you cut that shit the fuck out.
Also, inserting a pretty male character into Lupin III is unacceptable and does not match the style. Only women are pretty in the Lupin III universe; if men are pretty, they still look like Goemon. Your negative homosexual stereotype is a pretty man who was arbitrarily inserted into the show and demonizes gay men while also being a misogynistic jealous waste of space.
I'm not too keen on the sexism either, but if your stupid, pretentious, poorly-written inserted character wasn't in the show, the sexism would be at least 50% less prevalent. Also, your "rewrite" on Zenigata's personality is neither interesting, nor original.
Why is it that whenever you do a show focusing on Fujiko, you make it suck, and you make her suck by extension? It is, in fact, YOU that suck for this failure.
The first four episodes were fine, and the fifth was still okay, but the sixth episode was so wildly offensive on every level that my night has pretty much been ruined.
I'm more mad because you raised my hopes that the show wouldn't arbitrarily insert rape and torture into Fujiko's backstory just because she's female, but your stupid flashback scenes suggest that in fact, you did.
In closing, what the hell were you thinking? "Oh look, we'll add a pretty psychotic guy, nobody EVER does that in every anime"?
