I just need to mention (re: Gunnerkrigg Court) and then also here's how my day was

That Tom Siddell is a huge tease, and I fully expect Coyote not to tell us anything at all on Friday, because he is COYOTE after all.

Work today was pretty awesome. And I had lunch with a coworker unexpectedly! I have been going out on my lunch break so I could talk to Danny since he's home Mondays and Tuesdays and sometimes Wednesdays. Today he was at work, so I took the notebook I bought to draw in on breaks at work to the cafeteria and ate the food I'd brought to work off by myself. Only after I'd started did I notice that a large group of my fellows (the people with the same job as me, as opposed to people who are in my team, necessarily) were eating at a table nearby, laughing and talking. There was some classic high-schoolish feeling to it, where I thought 'man, I hope they don't think I'm being standoffish or anything, I just wanted to draw on my lunch break', and then one of my other fellows passed by and asked if she could sit with me.

She is adorable and I really do like her (to be honest, I like everyone I've met so far for the most part, with small, notable exceptions-- like, my competitive streak with guy across from me, and then guy behind me was calling some absent woman a "3" a few days back, which made me extremely annoyed for the rest of the day; other than that, things have been okay), but I had been a little too shy to really get friendly with her before that. I'm pretty focused on the job because I actually really like it, but that means that as a result, I haven't talked much to the people around me outside of a work capacity. The upside? People who transferred in this week mistook me for an old pro because I seem confident when I'm being studious. The downside? I worry people will think I'm not friendly or whatever. So-- random invite to share a table? Totally rad.

We talked about whatever-- she seemed to like my sketches, which was super nice of her! It was a fun lunch. She told me about how she eats with her eyes: tries new foods based on how appealing they look instead of reading what they contain (which can backfire spectacularly!), and at one point interrupted herself to say, "Am I talking too much? You let me know, I don't want to be a bad date!"

She is the cutest! I like her a lot. Anyway, it made lunch very nice.

I'm starting to feel a little more like I know what I'm doing, and I finally have my student body assigned to me properly in the system, which meant I finally got to see the numbers on how well I'm doing with handling calls and my overall calltime. Being excluded from the list was totally freaking me out!
