I will not stop watching Galaxy Rangers until Goose is actually in an episode again damn it

It has been super cool to see Niko and Walter actually get to be awesome, and all, but GOOSE

I'm totally exhausted, too. I worked today, and then I went to Anne's and we showed her pal K some Utena, and Anne cooked us gyoza and rice and pumpkin and spoiled us both. Then I made her come meet my parents, which was awesome, of course, and now Danny and I are relaxing. He has abandoned my Galaxy Rangers plans, but I shan't rest!

Edit: Okay, good. (Actually the next one after I said that had him in it, but I kept watching because I like the show a lot.)

The longer it runs, the more they've fleshed out most of the characters. I think I'm most fascinated by Zachary's determined self-separation from his own children. Everyone else has been around those kids since his wife was put in cryo, but not Cap'n Fox. It's just this perfect shade of neurotic. I really do like his character.

Also, pleased to note that Niko's jealousy is just canon. This conversation did nothing to clear up anything:

Niko: Goose, could you like a girl like Maya?
Goose: [he thinks about it] Nah, I don't have time for that stuff. We're too busy saving the universe and all.
[a pause, during which Niko looks relieved]
Goose: [cheerily] Besides, I prefer brunettes.
Niko: [partial scowl]

Niko is a redhead, of course...but Walter and Cap'n Fox are brunettes. Hmmm.

Seriously, though, Goose goes to a lot of trouble not to let ladies get to close to him. I can't help thinking there must be some reason why, like-- uncontrollable power backlash if he gets emotional or something goofy and comic-booky like that.
