Important question

Should I be looking to get a certificate in 2D animation? Or a Master's in the educational field? Both appeal, obviously, but-- yeah. I don't know what would be better* between the two. I don't know what to do!

*hairpull*

EDIT: Also, today's Gunnerkrigg Court makes me incredibly sad, because I love Ysengrim and do not like to see him being crazy or frightened or sad. Blah.

EDIT EDIT:

*- Obviously, 'better' is not the word to use in this situation, as they are related to each other only by the most tangential of strings. Practicality:

MaEd - There are two programs I could do, and the third I'd need to have a bachelor's already in the education field to take. (Regrettably, this is the one I'm most interested in, but the other two still appeal.)

Pros of MAEd
-Focuses on a field I find very interesting
-Could be completed in about 1.5 years
-Master's degree
-Would permit me to work more in the field of education

Cons of MAEd
-Can't do the one I'm most interested in because of its requirements
-UNLESS I go get a second Bachelor's in the appropriate field, which I'd have to do on my own time because none of the three schools offer Bachelor's of education. Yuck.

Pros of MBA
-Covers subject matter I'm largely only superficially aware of, so potentially interesting
-Useful for job-getting, and also useful for hopefully making that animation studio actually happen, someday
-Quick program with minor pre-reqs, which I could also take within the company if I wish (offered by the school)
-Master's degree

Cons of MBA
-Potentially boring-- there's a reason I've never studied this stuff all that much, it doesn't naturally appeal to me without some rationalization and forced enthusiasm
-Have to do pre-reqs to be able to do it, so slightly longer than the degree program itself

Pros of 2D animation certificate
-I'm very interested in this subject for sure! So it would be more fun.
-Useful for plans of making animations, running animation studio, and improving my art
-Still a relatively quick program, from the look of things. Gen. ed requirements are mentioned but seem minor and not a problem to transfer in classes to cover.
-Looks like I'd get some formal training in certain software that I only passingly use or understand at the moment, which would be good

Cons of 2D animation certificate
-Just a certificate
-Really, you'd think I'd have learned not to pursue degrees/certificates that aren't profitable, right? Or creative majors in general? Yeah.

The real problem is, I'd be interested to do them all, but I'm not sure I'm interested to stay with this company for the next five years (which is the only way to make 'all of them!!' an affordable option, of course).

Also, both of those master's degrees could lead to doctorates, but if I was going to pursue a doctorate I think I'd want it to be in something I really love, so I don't see myself going for the business route there.
