I'm being slightly pushy about things today!
1. This article about tax policies pretty handily summarized my concerns with the proposed policies of the Republican candidates still considered to be part of the race.
TL;DR: The reason the US is currently in an economic downturn, with a high unemployment rate, is heavily related to the fact that taxes are at a 60-year low. Further lowering them increases the risk of poor job security AND will benefit the rich, not the poor.
2. Play A Tale in the Desert! Holy crap! It is so awesome! Patrick picked it up (apparently after a ten-year break from it) after I spazzed to him that Danny and I were playing it last night, and he has a very accurate summary:
Patrick: It has all my favourite bits of an MMO (crafting) without all the pointless background (everything except crafting)!
3. It is Danny's birthday later this week! Birthday shenanigans are a must.
And most importantly, 4: Really looking forward to D&D tomorrow! We shall learn dream mastery from the mysterious old woman, if we can find her!

Also I totally keep forgetting about my birthday somehow! MAYBE GERMAN CHOCOLATE CAKE WILL REMIND ME!
Quick D&D related question. Would you rather find the old lady quickly or have a chance for random side stuff on the way to her to simulate travel time/difficult-adventuresome-stuff?

MAYBE SO! I'm going to have to find time to get you birthday things, so don't be too put out if I have to go off and you can't come with some time this week. ;)
I- that's a tough one! I think the latter is better though. Part of the reason I was expressing frustration yesterday is, I felt like it was pretty much a wild goose chase to go after the woman, but it was the only way I could think of to directly pursue a confrontation with Maligos, which is what we were all trying for originally. Since we escaped the dream unscathed, but couldn't re-enter one and go after him (or find him in the non-dreamscape world) we (okay, I) decided to go out on a limb following Xenocrates' suggestion about an old woman who might be able to teach us how to control dream mastery-- but he hasn't seen the old woman in two years and his concept of where she is is pretty vague at best, possibly totally unreliable at worst. Esra's not even sure she's there to be found, but I was adopting the perspective that he has to take that chance, just in case learning dream mastery will save the party's lives in the future.
Overall, the campaign has become a story about a group of fugitives struggling to stay alive, we're just not FFXIII fugitives so we can stop in a city if we feel like it and not EVERYONE is out to get us, haha! But since we all have assassins and the like after us, it seems reasonable to play a little panicky and focused on the immediate survival of the party, at least for Esra.
Also, I don't know if it is going to be important later, but he does still have the golden ticket from the soup when he was recovering with the sexy nurse girl at the inn in Lunel. Just in case you forgot. I know Esra hasn't. *cheeky grin~*

The old woman lead is totally real, the party is definitely not stuck in a dream either, but I have some good leads to follow up on and I kinda want to sometime soon. The golden ticket is definitely one, as is Kristofer's Spellbook. Pester me sometime this afternoon to write the "quest log" in case I forget, because I really want that done before tomorrow! Dustin's suggestion is a good one, and I actually already mentioned that I planned on doing it, but I'm pretty skilled at talking myself out of things I want to do!

That's a relief! Sure, I'll pester you with this deal: more sexy funtimes if you do it! Less if you do not! Ehhh? :D

Also I was hoping for your help, because I've got the notes, but you might remember bits I've forgotten too! :D

I'm hoping that the Dustin-named "Quest Log" will solve the problem without having to put as much time into it!

I do think that the Quest-Log could do a lot to solve the problem for the kind of game like the current one, where people are spending more time giggling out of character than we did in the Gwenn game! It's not that we couldn't juggle all the details, but that we're being very casual about gameplay (and I think that's good) so we take long enough sometimes that it's possible to forget details we should technically recall.

Also, holy crap Andrej Pejic is hawt. He's a currently active fashion model who models as both male and female. Do a google image search and you'll immediately understand, haha!
